HORRIBLE engine noise...sounds pretty bad
ok, so i was driving through some of my usual twisties like i usualy do when im bored, and i floored it coming out of one of the turns. just after i let off of the gas, the engine starts making a LOUD clacking sound ( kinda like a machine gun).
i know noone can give me a for-sure without pulling it apart, but can anyone give me any ideas one what happened? or at least best and worts case scenarios? or how much $$$ im looking at for repair? |
Was there just a noise, or was performane affected?
|
i don't know about noise but it a nice one hander.
|
no affect in performance that i can tell, but i'm kinda afraid to really open it up to really see... thanks on the one hander.... check out www.geocities.com/thre3maf for TONS of more/recent/better pics from the whole three333 team...

hehe - well i'm probably not right on this - but mine did this to me the other day
you don't want to know what it was... :p wheel nuts were loose - tightened them up with out the wheel brace - what a shit of a day that was :( |
I'm not a mechanic or anything but my best guess.... A CV joint? I had that problem with one of my other cars, it happened after hitting a bump in the road on a corner.
|
would need to hear it, but do not hesitate to tow it to a certiefied mechnic for diagnostics...
