Hi guys,
Just signed up for the forums n wanted to introduce my self, been browsing this site since i found it on google last week looking for feed back on the protege.
I ended up buying a 03 Protege LX auto with 24,000 miles last night from oak tree mazda in the bay area CA for $8,985. Car is for my gf (shes going to pay for the monthly payments $223)when she moves up from hawaii next month, she currently drives a 02 Protege ES auto but has to leave it in hawaii for her bro and sis. I figured best to get her a dependable car shes comfortable with and luckly the proteges are cheap.
Not planning on doing any real mods.....but it will be hard since i always some how end up spending money on mods
currently only thing i have planned is a alarm/remote start system that should be comming in on wed, planning on putting in about 6 pain generators and maybe 2 or 3 sirens (got a bunch from where i used to work at), but thats it for now....the rims do look fugly though
