can anyone out there tell me what they think might be causing my 01 mazda prorege to idle rough and it burns out the coil that to the no. 2 and no 4 cylinder i have replaced three coils already

 

'Burns out the coil' - how do you know? Did you test them with a multimeter?

How long between failures? How did you troubleshoot to the coils?

I am not trying to be an azz - just making sure we get to the right solution here...
