Front brakes dragging

Ok, so maybe i just drive with the music up too much. But I swear I can hear the front brakes dragging. The noise is quite noticiable from around 20kph to 50kph. Above that the road noise drowns it out, and below it stops.
Anyone else have this noise or problem?

Car is a P5 with 20,000kms on it.
Thanks
Stocker.

Is it a constant squeal, or a "pssssshhh" sound? (Don't know how else to describe it.)

If they're squealing, try braking hard from high speed 5-10 times in a row; get the brakes nice and stinking hot. Then drive around slowly until they cool off. (Do NOT park with hot brakes and set the handbrake, you may warp the rear rotors!) Sometimes, the wear pattern on the rotors will create squealing noise, and hard braking will change the wear pattern and eliminate the noise.

If that doesn't work, try applying anti-squeal to the backs of the pads. It's a rubber cement-like goo that's sold at auto parts stores, and it will sometimes dampen the vibration. If that doesn't work, try a different brand of brake pads.

If it's a "pssshhh" sound, I would check the wheel bearings first. You may be hearing bearing noise. If it's not the wheel bearings, try a different brand of pad or turn up the radio.

BTW all disk brakes inherently drag a little, always, and sometimes they make noise. Often, this is just something you have to ignore. However, try these suggestions and maybe it will get rid of the noise. Good luck!
