I would also recommend the Thunder Racing setup. Gary can tell you first hand the quality of the system. Plus its reasonably priced so might want to be something you check out. Ask Kargoboy (Gary) or Macdaddyslomo (Mike) about the set-ups.

I could but thats kinda what came stock on the car and its actually starting to chip away and it looks like the damn exhaust is chrome plated, so its actually yellowing in parts, not something I want to invest in again. I just placed an order with corksport for their power series exhaust, removes the cat though. Not sure if I should be worried about it or not. Can anyone give me some feedback on any problems that they have had or if it really isnt that big a deal??

^^^Are you talking about the Racing Beat?
If yes, I've never heard anyone say that before. Not about their cat-back or the axle-back that came stock on the MP3.
In fact, I've still got the Racing Beat axle-back installed (until Sunday!). I've had it for over two years and other than wear it still looks beautiful.

New to Mazda's but, not new to modding cars...

So does the Greddy sound like a fart can? I trust Greddy quality but, I have not looked into their exhaust systems before. Also, I checked their website but, I didn't see any types of numbers as far as HP increases. Am I missing that part?

Most people who have the GReddy have written that they like the sound. No fart can there.
I don't know whay you have but the GReddy only fits the P5.
Anyway, there are several quality cat-backs available...most will give you a gain of 4-6hp.

I am modding the wife's car and she has the P5. I was going to replace the entire exhaust and intake with some kind of hope that it would turn the gutless 2.0 into something a little more powerful. I have also been looking for engine management and have not found any companies really dedicated to the Mazdas.

Not trying to thread-jack, but, I'm seriously looking into the Hiboost turbo kit for the 2.0L on an 03'. And I was wondering, if there are any good turbo-backs I should look into. Any help would be appreciated.
