Exhaust system

I'm selling all of my old turbo coupe parts and hopefully ill have a little extra money to pick up an exhaust system. Im not too worried about getting a little more power, I just need one that looks good and sounds good. Protegegarage.com has the reactive axle back exhaust system, it looks good and its a good deal, $229 free shipping. Anyone try this one? Or is there another good suggestion, id like to spend $600 for a good system, but my other half would kill me. And whats up with the "sport exhaust" they have for $159?

The $159 exhaust is just the muffler and tailpipe I believe. It's not an entire cat-back.

So its basically like the reactive exhaust they sell? I saw a pic of the muffler and it didnt look like too good a quality. Im gonna at least get the reactive axleback, if i cant afford the Megan cat back. Anyone have pics of what a big tip looks like on a P5? I dont want it to look dumb

Check out Protege Garage. They have a few good choices for full cat backs for around 600 free shipping.

Lol, I think this thread is a buy thread, not a selling one. Besides, our cars are not coupes, so I doubt they would work for the Pro/3.

You could always buy a used cat-back from the mazdaspeed protege. I really like the 2003 tip (the 03.5 tip is kinda fugly). Better than stock, sounds good, looks good. All you need to do is take it to an exhaust shop and have them cut the 4 or so inches of pipe between the muffler and the tip so that if fits properly on the P5.

I have thunderbird turbo coupe parts, sorry all turbos are sold.

I am looking to spend less than $300, and i dont need a cat back, just something that looks and sounds good. Protegegarage.com seems to be the best place.

Yeh, Ken is the Bomb. If possible, buy your stuff from the P Garage.
Free shipping, awesome prices (his Magnaflow is cheaper than the same item on Magna's own website ) and your supporting a board member instead of some heartless multinational corporation, lol.

Do this one:
http://mazda3online.web.aplus.net/pr...roducts_id=533

Just over 300 for a full catback, made for the P5.
