engine grim
engine grim
i noticed when i cleaned my engine area the other day, that there was a lot of black grim along the seal of the valve cover... is this bad? im thinking maybe a gasket is leaking or maybe i need to torque it down just a hair... or is this all normal? im hopeing i havent messed something up while using n20.... it runs fine, but looking ahead for problems...thanks
Are you sure they aren't talking about Grimm? Perhaps the engine is possesed by one of the brothers, Grimm? I don't remember which one was black though, sorry
If you're using nitrous it may be a burntout seal leaking oil.Just a guess though.
And let's keep this board POSITIVE. THere is no need for your car to make you Grim.

me too
I run Mobil 1 5w30 and I noticed that after 5,200 miles that I have some on the leading edge of the valve cover. I cleaned it up with simple green and will keep an eye on it.
