They're vinyl decals- same type of materials used to letter emergency vehicles, just a little better grade I designed them and sell them email be at aeroplane1979@msn.com if you're interested.

As for the MP5 debate... who really gives a crap? In this instance, its just an abbreviation for Mazda Protege 5 & doesn't claim the car is anything it isn't- unlike people with 89 Civic's bearing VTEC emblems- or my idiot neighbor with a "J-Spec" Taurus. As for the MP3, well, I honestly think its stupid to name a car after its stereo. For instance...

"Hey, nice ride! What doest the MP3 stand for?"
"Mpeg layered 3! Its a media compression format allowing for easy data trasmission via the internet, or maximixing storage space on your drives"
"Does that make it go fast?"

Was there once a car called the CD? Or the 8-Track? Sorry- I'm ranting. At any rate- I like the "MP3" it just has a nice ring to it- even if I don't like what it stands for. I have an easier time justifing MP5.

I COMPLETELY agree with you, but we are "fighting" a losing battle. Too many people just WANT to call it an "MP5" and who am I to say no right? Frankly I have given up.
