It's probably nothing. Honda owners all sound the same, anyway, lol, how could you tell the difference.
This has been a most entertaining and informative thread, looks like I missed a lot in the last few days. I hope this doens't get too childish and out of hand, I'd like to see where this ends up.

I just get frustrated when I see people make all inclusive statements..."Honda sells more cars, so they must be better"...all opinion...and look at the average age of a Civic driver...yes that's quite a well informed consumer

Show me where I stated "Honda sells more cars, so they must be better"

As for the fuel, yes you are correct you'll need to bump up the injectors for anything over 10lbs. If I thought we were having a battle of the minds over turbo stuff then I would have typed up a short book. I'm simply stated small things here and there. I've got plenty of sources, friends, hands on experience with turbo Honda setups to do my own install and street tune the damn thing. I'm no Super Honda Master Omega Technician, but I know my way around them well enough to hold a conversation and support facts on my own.
You don't need those block guards if you aren't hitting 15 lbs. all day everyday.

Honda owners all sound the same...simple minds...watching too much T.V.
As I stated when I arrived on this website, I came here to help a friend with a Protege, gain some knowledge about the cars and help where I could. But since this website is just like EVERY other automotive forum website, everyone is biased towards the car the website is based around. No biggy. All these websites are the same honestly. I'm not like every other civic owner.

No step back and look at you guys from a 3rd person omniciant (sp?) view. You all act like all these "civic owners" that you bitch about so much. I'll be honest, I've read quite a few of your little posts about what you have done to your cars...mostly show, no go. And a lot of the "show" parts that you buy are consider ricey by the few of us Honda guys that pride our selves in being clean.

Its sad that the aftermarket scene for you guys isn't bigger, because it really should be. But if you hate other people for having things or options that you don't. And more parts for their motors than you could possibly fathom, then that is immature. No one twisted your arm into buying a car that has a limited amount of aftermarket peices...sorry dude.

All the racing stories about beating the civic ex's...*shakes head*...and WE need to grow up. Try setting the bar a little higher there pal.

I love the generic 15psi rating or whatever being thrown around...yeah stock injectorsd will hold 10psi....10psi of what?? They won't hold 10psi from my supercharger!

10psi on a T-25 is NOT the same as 10psi on a T04e...... all of these posts and "facts" are invalid.

Actually Omron made the first comments that irked me, so watch your tone. Secondly of course people here are biased towards their own car. It's a mazda forum. I personally don't like it when trolls come on here though and are like "Civics are da bomb yo, I can by some bolt on parts and smoke all these Slotege's in here". The aftermarket scene actually is just fine for the Protege also...nobody complains about lack of parts availability here actually.Maybe cost of parts. There are numerous parts available. Nobody in here hates Civics because of aftermarket parts availability. Most people hate them because your average Civic Tuner is a 17 year old punk and thinks stickers, aluminum wings, unpainted body kits, and street racing are "da hotness yo". And if you think I'M "all show and no go",I normally only race faster cars, but I'll be happy to show you my tailights

I'm a ricer yep! All show and never on the track buwhahahahahaa!!!

At least the first mod I did to my car was not swap out the engine. I have yet to meet a Civic owner who has their original factory engine in their car.

"It's all stock, I swear!!"

Mac, I understand where your coming from and my follow up post to that was an appology to everyone for making sweeping statments like that... but you sound like you are trying to defend your rep, no one was saying you can't race. But the reason why I stopped racing was cause it doesn't matter what tuned car you have, they are all 17 year old kids that just wanna follow to much Too fast 2 Furious movies.

I respect you as a moderator but calling people trolls and putting people down and seeming like your more knowledgable is really turning me off.... this is an open forum and the topic ties in with the thread.

But either way , for alll of us, before it gets to childish, lets stick to the original post and move on from there.

My question was that I was asking , was non turbo /none engine tweaking, which car could push more...

Rod any one?

a troll is someone who comes into a thread/forum with the sole intent of arguing or fighting.

I personally think a honda person with no mazda (that I know of) bragging about honda power is a troll. Mac may have jumped the gun but he's not totally off base.

I think 99% of every internet argument can be solved with this one phrase.... "Anything can be fast if you throw enough money at it."

the way your question is worded..sounds like you are asking which is faster bone stock...that's a pretty easy one...simple answer: "torque wins races, horsepower sells cars"

If your asking a different question, just word it a bit better.

But I will stop the dumb arguing...But here's an easy way to spot a troll...In a month which person posting in this thread wont have any other posts...

As I said, your first comments irked me Omron, you then came into the discussion with more informed comments, that is appreciated .It wasn't really you that continued any arguement from me. Here is my final response on this thread...any more flaming and the thread will be closed. Honda makes quality products, as does Mazda. In the economy sedan segment the Civic is more fuel efficient than a Mazda Protege and has a better resale also. The Civic does have a great reliability record. In terms of acceleration and handling, the Mazda surpasses the Honda, and it's reliability record is right on par with the Civic. I am a car enthusiast, so it's the actual driving experience that is more important to me. This makes the Protege the obvious choice. Make your own decision.

No partner, you are wrong. A good friend of mine has the same car I do, with a custom t3/t4 turbo set up, pushing 10lbs on high boost, with STOCK injectors (240cc saturated) and has no problems. He's also a Honda Certified Master Technician, so I think he has SOME idea of what he's doin.

I'm lookin forward to seeing this WOMP when it comes out and has proven it's reliability. Honestly, I am.
