Could everyone please check thier P5 for a chip 
in the trim above the licence plate...in the center where the trim meets by the Mazda M symbol, do you have it?
Also, check your front bumper where it meets the fender behind the drivers/left headlight. The seam that runs from the light to the wheel well will have a moulding/casting deform like flashing in a toy plastic model.
I'm trying to see if this problem is a local issue (possibly a small section in the production run). I have checked some cars at the dealer, (yellow & black) and they have it too!
