Changing headlights .. please help

Hi everyone, I am trying to change my headlight with a set of HID Plasma lights. I find out that there is a black round plastic protective thing around where the headlight bulbs are.

My question is that how can I get the old bulbs out? Do I have to pull the black round plastic protective thing out? Or, do I just turn the white connector before the bulbs? I don't want to break anything.

I have tried to look for this topic, but can't find it in this site. Any help is appreciated. thanks!

Pull the white connector out and then remove the black guard. You will then be able to see that the bulb is held in by a metal clip that works similar to a safety pin. Manouver it so that the clip swivels out of the way and you'll be able to remove the bulb with ease.

BE sure not to pop out the retaining spring. It's a bioych to get it back in. Best of luck

The owner's manual has a couple pages on replacing the headlight bulbs. At least mine does ...

Good luck.

Owner's Manual is always a good read.
