Brake Rotor Installation

In terms of difficulty how hard would it be to install drilld and slotted rotors on my protege 5? The rotors are the same size as the stock rotors.

easy just remove the wheels and then the calipers. giving you the ability to remove the rotors. unpackage the new ones slap them on the hubs clean them put the calipers back on adjust as needed. put the wheels back on and viola done. i would say for a first timer maybe 40 min to 1hr per wheel. thats if you like to be thorough and slow.

It is highly recommended to use new pads with new rotors so they will seat properly and quickly. This will avoid 'wear-in' seating of old grooved pads onto flats of new rotors.

Hit the new rotors with plenty o' brake cleaner to get the packing grease off...

^Or sand the pads down to flat/level if there is still a lot of life left.
