I have an MP3 and it came with a tach. I bought my wife a 2001 1.6 and it has no tach. I bought an aftermarket but cant find the right coil wire to hook it up to does anyone have any idea how to hook it up or have any of the DX fans know how to. thanks for the help

 

whoaaaaaa... no coil wire chief. we run no signals from the coil packs. head to the back righthand side of the engine bay to the diagnostic box (little grey plastic box) and pop the cap off... you'll run the tach wire to the purple wire, with a white stripe. good luck, if you need any other help, pm me.
