AC in 03 P5?

Okay, I know a lot of us have talked about the AC in our cars. I know mine doesn't seem to blow as cold as my previous cars. Anyone have a solution for this or talked with the dealer about it? Or, is this just something we are going to have to live with?

Live with it.

Ensure the a/c light stays on - in the 2/3/4 position the light will sometimes cut out and stop the a/c. A jiggle of the switch brings it back on.

On a hot day - first open the windows and move the car - it blows much of the heat out. Then use the a/c on recirc and the roof vent open until it gets kinda' cool and then close the vent. Eventually go from recirc to fresh air to dry the system and keep it form getting musty smelling.

the stock ac system sucks. it's not very cool and it's a huge drain on the engine.

If it seems that your a/c isn't as cold as it should be, or the heat not as hot, there is a way you can check to make sure the 'settings' are correct - it's something to check on your own before heading down to the dealer.

If I remember correctly, you have to pull out the HVAC (as if you're doing the A/C mod), and it's in there somewhere. If you do a search regarding this - probably more info on msprotege.com - you should find it. I've never had a problem with the heat/cold on mine, but I know a couple other people locally did, and adjusting this 'setting' seemed to fix the problem.

^^Mattyspeak for "screw the a/c and buy my supercharger"

Mine seems to work fine, but then again, I rarely use it, even in the heat. I like having the windows open whenever possible.

I make it a point to NEVER tell anyone to buy my stuff. It makes me look partial. I don't want to be that way BUT, if someone were to remove their ac I would then suggest that I could replace it with something if they were so inclined!

Upgrade the AC they were reviewing some duracool product on trucks!(spike tv) and its supposed to be more efficent then our cooling stuff.

Furthermore mine works great I think its becuase its a 1.6l or rather from 2000.
