I got sick of looking at it everyday thinking that some guy in Alabama has $1700 of my money and he could just be laughing his *** off at me and spending it.
Now imagine how that feels for a second. You have this slow *** car. You always knew it was slow. Then someone tells you he has this kit ALREADY put together .. it just needs to be tested. I scrape together some money, I even pay the extra 3% because he complains about the paypal fees and what not.
Amount: $1,751.00 USD
Mar. 21, 2005 Charge From Credit Card Completed $1,751.00 USD
I see that everytime I log into my hotmail. Its been a year and 3 months since I sent off that money.
Yes, in the begining I begged to be one of the testers so I could get a better price.
Yes, I flipped out with every delay. Its alot of money to trust to someone 6000 miles away.
Now, to think that everyone was right. That some guy in Alabama just ripped me off and I was so stupid to belive him.. It really makes me HATE that damn car.
So, what was your question? Why did I sell the car so easily? It should be pretty damned obvious. How about you send me $2000 for nothing. I'll pay you back, I swear.

Defrost, Defrost and Feet, and Feet. The only positions that it does not kick on is on upper vent and feet, and upper vent.
If the temperature dial is set all the way to hot, it still cycles the AC compressor on and off.

Sucks man you were one of the few 1.6ers. You know we had at least one thing in common: a belief in the 1.6l...

Right. Fuel economy is over-rated. It's the fun-factor that really counts!
Ditto. Just curious to see what finally came out of it in case no one posted their progress....

in the end.. it looks like he took my money and ran. no word for a couple of months now. Last he said he would finally refund me .. then some delays.. then nothing at all.
