Update on new exhaust...

Ok, we're still dealing with what type of steel the muffler's will be produced in...we'd like to do SUS 304 but it's a little pricey. Since large gains aren't noticed from a catback compared to an axle-back, we may just do a nicer muffler setup and make an axle-back, or we can do cheaper metal with a catback. The way we are looking at it is what would be most cost efficient for us and the best gain for the customer...so chances are the new 1320Engineering Catback will become a 1320Engineering Axle-Back...we'll have to discuss it with the exhaust shop...still though, it will be a great looking muffler(N1 style) and provide gains over the stock muffler in both HP and sound....

Ok, just talked with our muffler manufacturer about the dimensions and we're waiting for them to fax us a CAD design, and noise and flow charts so I'll have a better EST of cost, noise, HP gains, etc and I'll let you all know ASAP! Anybody still interested, lol? We'll have our site up soon(for those who have visited the 1320engineering.com site, you'll notice there isn't much there). I got the new design up, but our store won't be complete for a while. The exhaust will be in limited quantities, so we'll probably do a pre-order on here or something in the near future..we like to keep our customers updated!

well its unfortunate that nobody seems to be posting back. dont be surprised if nobody ends up wanting the exhaust. that seems to happen alot on this site. everybody wants parts produced and wants good deals, but when it comes time to buy, nobody wants it anymore. that seems to be happening with the MP3 group buy i put together. i had like 20 ppl defanitely ready to buy kits, so i got the deal and it was rediculously cheap, and now nobody has the money or wants to buy it now. its a lil frustrating.

I might be interested as a test mule. I have not decided what I will do with the rest of the exhaust yet. So far we have added cams and a long tube header to the mix and I'm curious if any gains might be made by something like this. I'm not interested in anything priced like the HKS unit. That is too much money for an axle-back.

Well, it should be cheaper then the HKS...but as of yet, the muffler manufacturer hasn't sent us a price bill...the exhaust is for our online store and will be sold as a web item only..I just brought it up on this forum to kinda get the word out..and chances are we'll only have limited quantities made to start with...

this is definetly a good place to market and spread the word. I had never even heard of some companys before i came here, for example, TeamMoon (one of your competitors) just dont expect people around these parts to hold true to their word. people suck.

the only reason i even bothered with the group was to save myself money. im still getting a REALLY good deal (injen CAI for 190 shipped), but im also getting a HUGE headache. im never going to do that again. i also now know that if i say i want something, i had better stick to it, or else someone like me or you are going to kick my ***!
