Is there one for the Protege? If so where? and is it a good idea to put on? and...I know there is a super charger for the Miata and they have the same engine as we do (the 1.6 type) and i was wondering if we could use one thats amde for the Miata and yes I know there engine is turned sideways....

 

The Miata 1.6L used from 1990-1993 was the B6-ZE. The 3rd Gen Protege 1.6L used from 1999-2001 was the ZM-DE. They are not the same and the supercharger won't work.

The only engines shared by the Miata and Protege is the BP 1.8L, used in the Miata from 1994-current and the Protege from 1990-1998. However, major performance parts won't easily swap between those.

but, I don't see why a super charger can't be added
on our proteges, it would be cool though if
somebody could or has one on their ride!

I am suprised that no superchargers or turbos
are not out for the protege. please correct me if
i am wrong, i am way behind on the mods available
for our cars
