Stock Dyno Numbers??
Just dynoed our P5 with 445 miles on it. Absolutely bone stock. I was pretty underwhelmed. Hood up, made 96.4 hp, 107.5 tq, hood down 95.5hp, 106 tq. You can see results here:

Anybody else have any baseline numbers? A 1.8 Miata makes another 5 hp stock.

So far the dynos I've seen have run from a low of 96 HP to a high of 105 HP. My ES was right at 100 stock. Keep in mind that dynos will vary slightly from location to location. There is hope though as they can be made to make more power.

Those are weird numbers. My ex-Integra 1990 pulled 112WHP and it's rated 130HP at the crank. Anyway, I like the torque curve. No big dips. And correct me if I'm wrong, but your VVT or VICS is activating at 4800RPM?

I live on the eastern slope of Colorado, waiting patiently for money to dyno my MP3.

I would rather dyno it with more miles myself, but the turbo is here, so had to do it. I've only seen one engine gain significant power over the miles and that was my wife's ducati monster. Transformed itself over the first 1000 miles.
