question.

hi..i was wondering what would be better 2 get first for my protege and what would have better benefits....

a whole new intake

or

a whole new exhaust system

also...what r sum good examples of intakes/exhaust systems that people have installed on their proto & found 2 work really good with their cars.....and maybe examples of systems not 2 get also..? thx

you would really have to get both an intake and a exhaust system berfore you began to see any real gains from our proteges.

well first, what yeah and trim protege do you own???? because the 1.6 litre is pretty limited, while the 2.0 has plenty of crap for it, so lets start there.

you will notice a slight diffrence with an intake, and a full exhaust. so i would start there. im all for doing crap like replacing the motor mounts with better ones, and a better clutch. but thats me. my car had horrible wheel hop before i redid my motor mounts. now it feels much better. less motor shift.

so wait...with a new intake and a new exhaust system your saying ill only feel a slight difference? would the results even be worth the money 2 get them + installation?

any1 know any websites where i can look at different intakes and exhaust systems specifically designed for a 2k2 protege es or where 2 purchase theM?....thx...im in the buying stage...rite now just gathering up the money...thx again
