Hmm...If I am reading this dyno sheet correctly then this truck gained 25hp and raised the torque range. I am not familar with reading dyno's. Is that correct?

But I guess that any company will try and sell any ole P.O.S. to their consumers even if it means giving them false information. I guess I should have gone to business school or something and maybe I could be as smart as some of the "other" people on this board. :the finge

True but read that the truck was a 5.4 liter. Its a bit easier to get more power out of something like that compared to our 2.0 liters.

I looked at that dyno again and I ask this, why is the HP and torque being compared to the MPH rather than rpm. I thought traditionally you compare HP and Torque with a given rpm. Whatever, I still stand by my previous post.

Good point. Our $399.00 price was an introductory price to get our name out in the public a little. Those who were brave enough to try it are now smiling and reaping the benefits of noticeable performance gains for a vey little money. We are now in the process of giving our unit an electronics and appearance face lift and will re-stock it in a few months at an much higher price as reasonably anticipated by your reading public.

There are many similar products for much less. This particular product modifies the 02 sensor signal so that your ECU will adjust the A/F ratio. The same thing can be accomplished with a 50 cent resistor.

Similar products will spoof the Mass Air Flow sensor or Air Intake Temperature sensor. Again same results with a cheap resistor.

As many of us know, most of the 10hp difference between the MP3 and the other 3rd Gen 2.0L Proteges is accounted by the ECU. So this is a viable product. . . but it should be more in the $50-$75 dollar range. Keep in mind, this only affects A/F ratio to a given degree at that and will not modifiy the ignition timing. I won't go out and say "this product works, go buy it", but I will say "the principles behind the product have some merit."

For a $400+ spoof, I'd like an EGT sensor that sends a signal to a processor which looks at both the EGT reading and O2 sensor reading. The processor would then send a spoofed O2 sensor reading to the ECU so that the ECU can provide a stoicmetric A/F ratio. Scratch that. . . I wouldn't even pay $400 for that (although EGTs are pricey). A reprogrammed ECU would be a far better option.

C'mon, $75 Tornado in air hose gives 25 horsepower.....
