exactly what i was thinking..for the same a mount of $$ over here would also buy you headers and full exhaust..put in a bit more and you would also buy a stainless steel rear muffler..which would no doubt gain you more than the chip

does anyone know how these chips work?..for example if you've done some work to the car already..breathing mods, cams etc.. how would the chip perform?

I've email them before about there chip's for a SP:20(P5) the power figures they give is for a stock engine and when you order a chip you tell them any upgrades youve done or are going to do in the near future, so they can tailor the chip to your car and get more power from the chip. P5 details

when i dynoed my 1.6l..i got 55.5kw atw with only a cat back zaust, now this car is putting out just over 70 kw atw..that's pretty impressive gains from intake / headers / exhaust...what kind of prices are you guys paying for headers and exhaust?

the headers are 4-2-1.
