is our 2.0 the same?

is the 2.0 motor in the pro the same as a 2.0 Ztec motor in a ford?
i just looked at some pics from another website of a blown up 2 liter focus motor from a nitrous hic up, and noticed with the motor removed from the vehicle that there are alot of similarities to our motors, like oil filter placement and so on, i know we share parts between ford and mazda but was wondering if it were so, also while i was in the market for a new car and my attention was at looking for either a focus zx3 or svt that they had a cutout of the 2.0 on the ford website but i cant find it anymore to compare the 2 motors.

2 completely different engines...the Zetec is actually a newer engine design than the old, tired FS series mazda engine..funny though ford wasnt able to make more power with it

The 3800 series II V6 by GM is probably the most reliable engine EVER made. Low maintainance and is pretty much bulletproof.

And what is nice about that 3800 (now available in Series III trim) is that it puts out 260hp and 280 lb-ft in Supercharged trim, but still gets 30 on the highway

How about the mustang.....SVO or the thunderbird turbocoupe....or the T-bird Supercoupe.

Sure it's "just a four cylinder" But name another sub $16K (new) that ran a T3 turbo, had factory forged internals and could run 24psi on the stock fuel system. All of this was good for over 300whp.

I'm using this motor in my current project car and with a new exhaust, intercooler and turbo I'm expecting over 400whp. Not bad for an engine that came out in 1983 huh.

Also Ford's current 3.8L is pretty much bulletproof. I've seen guys running 12psi superchargers on stock bottomends for 12s quarters.
