just logged 3000 miles on the 2002.5 pro5 today. as posted by others, could not get the filter off with-out a cap wrench, wich was a problem finding itself. change went fine after that, used the mazda 626 filter for just a little bit more filteration (is that a word)? i guess i'll rotate the tires tomorrow. for the do it your-selfers out there, what are you doing to keep records of maintaince ?

 

I just threw a little black note book in the glove box and wrote down the mileage and what I did. I rotated my tires at 8,000 miles, and have changed the oil a couple of times

 

heres a tricky one, my car has 9K on it, but my motor has 7K, when do i change the oil? lol, i just got it back Saturday

time to rotate the tires though
