Intake size

Ok all you guys in the knowing -

What size (I.D.) is the intake tubing from the mass air flow to throttle body? And, what size of K&N cone filter is used on the P5?

Building my intake and looking for aluminum tubing. Oh yea - any good sources for rubber elbows?

Many thanks!

there is no better source than yourself.....pop off the hose where it attaches to your MAF and measure it there....then on the other end pop it off where it attaches to the throttle body...I think you will find its the same size....then obtain tubing that size ID....as for the cone filter....the SIZE if its opening will depend on the wall thickness of the tubing you decied to use.

No, no, Sir Nuke not that easy around my house.

You see, if my wife finds me fooling with my P5 she will have a fit! "you can't mess with it until it is our of warranty........."

So, I go into stealth mode - get parts together and while she is out to the store, I drop it in. Minimizing under hood time = happy wife = more sack time = big smile
