Just purchased an AEM clone intake for my 02 ES. Everything fit fine, but when I hit the acclerater, for a split second I hear a 'squeak' from what I believe is the intake. I'm not sure if this is just the rush of air being pulled in or not. I understand that the intake makes a sucking noise, but I've never heard what sounds like a squeak coming from them. I've installed them on past cars, and never had this problem. Has anyone heard this before? I'm tempted to put back on the stock system, don't want to ruin my new car. Any help would be appreciated!

 

I'd guess that when you romp it and the motor torques over, which it does quite a bit, something rubs and makes the squeak. Pop the hood and romp it using the TB linkage and see what it is. Shouldn't be hard to pin point that way.
