yep

The bosal will give performance...I can't see any restriction to it. I recommend using Rishie and yes the california edition is emissions legal. If you do order the bosal make sure they send you the right tip. They sent me a p5 tip which is 2" inches long when it should be 4-5" to clear the rear bumper on the sedan. It worked but it was alot louder in the car. When I got the right tip it made a world of difference with the interior noise. Its a perfect sound and worth the money.

The shorter tip isn't from the P5 specific exhaust. I got the same short tip with my system for my sedan. The Protege 5 is 4 inches shorter than the sedan and requires shorter exhaust tubing before the muffler in order to fit the Protege 5. The tip was apparently a running change as the early systems seemed to have the shorter tip, while the newer systems are coming with the longer tip. The tips are interchangeable with the chameleon muffler, and there should be several different ones to choice from soon.

That is not the same story that I got from Bosal. Either way with the Sedan you definately need the longer tip! The short tip didn't clear the car and was loud.

That's good to know. I'll have to try the longer tip, although with the silencer my exhaust isn't that loud.
