well i usually buy my parts off of ebay. sencond thing id do would to get a cat-back exhaust system. then maybe look into headers

id go with fujita f5 for the cold air intake, then geta header and cat back exhaust.. if you ahve the money you can just go with a turbo kit and build the internals and have a really fast 3

Cold Air intake ( about 5-10 HP in that car), Exaust will cost you 7-800 and not getyou more than 8 HP. That engine could be tuned or chipped, that is the the easiest way t boost it without Turbocharging it. Check ebay or the Mazda3 message boards for some Speed3 turbos. People upgrade them and sell the old ones for a couple hundred bucks

yeah, but buying a speed3 turbo would be pointless on a regular 3 because then you would have to make/find the other components... (turbo manifold, intercooler piping ,etc.) and it wouldnt be as efficient, its easier to buy a turbo kit that is already made for a 3 than to try and make one from basically nothing using a used speed3 turbo.. you could even use pieces of different turbo kits to make you own kit
