Exhaust System Components

I have searched all over the forums, and found nothing to answer my questions. What are all the pieces that compose the exhaust system, excluding internals. I know of the header, the down pipe, the cat(s), the piping underneath (special name?) and the muffler. Is there anything I am missing? TIA!

seems to me you pretty much just named every part....

see, you didn't need as much help as you thought you did.

Factory service manual calls the "pipe underneath" the "intermediate pipe." Otherwise, all you missed are a couple of gaskets.

Cool, thanks guys. Just one last thing...does it matter if the hangers and gaskets are stainless steel like the pipes I plan to get? I don't want them rusting off anytime, so I was just curious what you may have done/heard about them?

I think another name for the "intermediate pipe" or that really long pipe between the cat and the muffler, is the resonator. But i could be wrong :P
