Just curious as to why you would do that? Are you trying to get it to a shop to put on a new system but they want touch it with it on? Thats what they told me.

It just seems like you are aggrivated in your posts. Why are you wanting to remove the hole exhaust?

Um bad idea then, not to bust your bubble. Just plain bad idea. Running just the exhuast manifold is a sure way to mess up a valve. If you backfire it will suck in cold air onto the cams and valves and thats not good.

Atleast thats how it is on the v8s. anyone ells?

Let's just say it's a bad idea...It will hurt the car, and if you DONT think its loud, and it will sound better, you are SADLY mistaken. Have you heard those honda's that sound like an angry bumblebee trapped in a tin can ??? umm..yeah.

The only motors that benifit form running open exhaust don't fit under the hood of our cars. You just have to save up and get a header then get the mid pipe replaced then a good axel back (muffler). After that save up and replace the cats with highflow ones so you stay legal. Did you by an air intake yet?
