Hey everyone, I have a question. My alternator in my 02 MP5 is going bad. So I was curious if I was going to be able to put a alternator from a same year protege into my car and if it will fit. I know that theres something to do with the ECU and the alternator at the same time, so I was just seeing if it would work before I pay the money to get the alternator. Any info on this would be great, thanks.

 

yeah, it'll work. the alternators hadn't changed in years.
