Alternator

Ive been going and going through threads looking for a site or a name of a high output alternator for my 2002 LX. Ive burned 2 alternators a battery and my 1farad cap isnt helping anything. I installed an optima and thought it would help but the alternator cant keep up. ANY names of sites, brands, etc., of any high (200-300amp) alternators would be most appreciated. My stereo runs about 1600w max and around 700 rms.

I know they can do some stuff... If you check any major car audio mag they will list a TON of suppliers for this stuff, because obviously you would not be the first person to have this problem.

Have you upgraded your wiring from the alt to the battery, and battery to ground yet? That will help save some stress on the alternator, as well as charge your optima better.
