I was reading on this site the other day about a rich doctor that was putting together his own 1.6L supercharger system. It's very custom (cause there's nothing out there for your engine) and so very expensive. If you look under the FI section on this site, you should be able to find his posts there.
The turbo is pretty much the only way you'll get any power out of that engine though. Good luck. |
Yeah a turbo is definatly the way im planning on going.
I talked to the guys at Flyin' Miata a bit to get some pointers cause i know they used to do proteges also. They are saying go with a t25 turbo setup, so thats the plan. And holy shit it that true, 1500 for a full kit?!? |
Has anyone used this kit or know if it is any good. Thats the power gain im looking for and a new kit is better imo than buying anything used or piecing my own shit together .
http://www.turbo-kits.com/protege_turbo_kits.html Im looking at the extreme kit |
