02' es wont peel
 
I have an 02' ES sport mode transmission cuz i thought it would be cool to have a stick and auto in case i get lazy on the gears!! but anyway i cant make the dam thing peel at a light even if im in the manual mode if it is possible can someone give me some info on how to make my green machine fly or at least peel the hell out!!!:cool:

You know that by peeling off you are doing a lot of damage to your car ???

and even if you do know, but don't care..............you should've bought a stick...............you never get tired of it believe me.. and you can peel off all day long if you prefer do to so.......!!

Start in water.:)

If it won't do it by brake torquing (stand on brake and gas at the same time until the engine stops revving, then side-step off the brake), then it's not going to do it on dry ground.

Most small automatics won't peel out on dry ground.

why would you want to peel out? you'll go through a set of tires real quick, and from what i've heard, the blasted rubbers we got on our cars are not readily available. but to each his own, i guess. try getting an intake and exhaust in there so you can rev higher faster. see if that burns you out. if not, then i have no clue... my p5 isn't powerful enough to peel even if i wanted to. and i'm just guessing on the intake and exhaust thing... i have no clue about this stuff... i don't have either on my car.

Only way is to start in water, our automatics have too low of stall
 
Only way is to start in water, our automatics have too low of stall for any wheel spin on dry pavement.

Or do what a buddy of mine did:
Install another windshied washer tank with pump and install the squiters pointing just in front of the tires. Use brake fluid or water etc. and with a press of button :eek:

On your auto. put it in neutral, rev up to about 4-5000rpm then put it in drive. That's how I peal out when I want to, but I rarely do it. It works for me every time.

neutral drops are the worst thing you can do to your transmission................

i certainly wouldn't call the guy stupid. it's his car and he can do what he pleases. if your not going to give him the info requested then back off. besides i would only call him stupid if he backed over a parking stop with his car to do a burnout....oh wait.....:withstupi

If the E-Brake by it's self doesn't work, give up.
for useless smokie burnouts you should bought this :camaro:
or at least a stick, then you'd only be replacing your clutch.

You could always try putting on a set of cheapo bias-ply tires, pump 'em up to about 80 psi and let 'er rip!

The last time I put it in neutral was some time last year. I only posted it because he seemed desperate for a burnout. Chill, take a nap or something.

Your Wrong 'Genius'! I already checked the dealership to change my auto to standard. It cost even more because they also have to put in a clutch. They said about $6,000. Yep, thats right. I hate autos.

I've tried going to new/used parts shops and junk yards,but all of them keep saying they don't have a standard for my car yet. It's kinda confusing. Or they tell me to come back, they may have some later or they don't carry protege/mazda parts. Maybe its time for me to check again.
