thinking about cleaning my injectors before reinstalling motor

I have been considering to try and clean my injectors before I reinstall my motor and driving. , but the problem is, I am wondering how I would go about doing this. I really don't want to send them to R.C.E cause it costs a lot to have them do it .. maybe close to 170 or so with shipping.
I had found this site long time ago that told you what to do and how to hook up the injectors to be cleaned and what to use to clean them . I really would hate for a dirty injector to cause me to lean out a cylnder..

any thoughts guys?

take som WD-40 to it :) that and duct tape.. they fix anything

and if you are worried about it ruining a cylinder... then just dont put one there... ya dont need it ;)

Ok i have no idea... wanted to "sound like I knew what I was talking about"

On the East Coast, try Marren Motorsports. They charge $24/per. Add a couple of bucks shipping.

I had mine done at about 150k. One was dripping, not spraying. Flow was still fairly reasonable, but the car stumbled until about 4000rpm. It was worth it. Injector cleaners can only do so much.

BTW, the injectors spec'd out at 245cc/hr afterwards. Before they were between 200-230cc/hr.

thank you , oddly enough they are in CT, but it is still better to just ship it to them ... I have to really look and see if I see this site that I ran across a while ago..

on the site you linked me to they had some calculations for figureing out the max hp some injectors could hold.. I did some figureing with estimates and was pretty amazed

RE said that there was enough injector for about 160 hp.

My thinking with CT was that instead of 8 days each way UPS ground or USPS, you'd have 2-3. Also costs less.

maybe I should send him my gtr injectors , because I am planning a minimum of 180 hp once boosted..
when I was calculating the factory injectors ability I was pretty much coming up with the same hp number as them ... 160 ish..

gtr injectors were near 300ish or something like that.. I forgot, as I was tired as hell last night
