cai question?

i just installed a ractive intake today but when i remove the factory box i had to take out a sensor and it is just sitting there now not doing anything ...is it really important and what should i do with it?

simple as that ....now all i need is some tubing to make it really stand out ...i just have a cone at the end of the mas
