how about a normal response to his question?
if he has a dx, he doesn't have a tach. all tachometers are fairly easy to install. this was one of the first thing's i did on my car when i got it. anyway, autometer makes the best gauges. if you're not going for anything flashy, you can get a 3 3/4 inch simple tach for like 50 bucks. just search around the internet, you'll find something.

no i dont have a tach. my car is a dx, look at my sig, it says the lx is wrecked and i pulled the motor out of it. think im gunna be driving that car?
and no i dont want some big gay *** tach like in riced out hondas just something so i can see my rpm's, as i have never driven a stick b4 and i herd from many people its easier to learn with a tach, besides that i want 1.

I have a 323 and it did not have a tach so i went to a salvage yard and spent way too much money for a protege lx cluster but to my suprise when i hooked it up it worked . By the way the same cluster is for sale . because im putting a probe SE dash in my 323 this is not recomended because there is going alot of modifications to pull this off and make it look right and not like crap.
