Thumbs up intake filter for protege

changing stock filter to a K&N filter. did you have to make any modifications to fit the air filter (awfully small space for the filter)
thanks

i'm going to guess you mean a cone type filter, as a drop in, well, just drops in. You'll need to remove the stock air box and snorkels, then get yourself a GOOD air flow meter adapter to accept the cone filter. No mods needed if you get the correct size cone filter.

The part number at K & N for the protege is for the panel filter. That is for the stock air box. It is a flat panel to replace the OEM one in there.
