floor mat problem

i have a set of run of the mill floor mats in my 1st gen, my problem is that they slide around everywhere and just get in the way, i dont want to buy custom ones for my own reasons, but my question is is their any way to mack these things down so they dont slide around !?
thanks!

i picked up a set of Civic floor mat metal brackets. They have a pin that fits into a ring on the mat, but you have to cut a hole in yours. Could use a sign banner eyelet. It's a 2 peice ring that snaps together.

they bolt to the frame peice going accross the car just under the seat. Some customoizing and they should fit fine.

You could probrably find others ones at a junk yard too.

Big ass peice of velcro?
big ass peice of two sided tape?
Super glue? :D
