Question ES or SE ???

Hi all it's Michael up here in Washington State.. I've been reading the posts for a while now, and I've seen mention of an "ES" model of Protege.. When i repainted my car, the stickers that i removed from my fender read "SE". And i double checked that with a pic I have when it was black still.. So were there both models or were my markings wrong? Thanks in advance.

Michael.

by the way is there anyone else from Washington?

do you have a sohc 16valves? or dohc? if you have a sohc you probably got a canadian protegé. look at the vin on the dash under the windshield, for the engine code.

actually, in the US, wasn't the 90 Protege offered in SE, 4WD, and LX trim and decals???
i believe in 91, they changed from SE to DX for the base model...

I have a 1991 SE(canadian) with the SOHC 16 valve, spoiler, power sunroof, and power mirrors(option?) but manual windows. Were the power windows an option or was this a custom order?
