Somewhere in the Oakland area theres a controversy(sp??) about a car whistle that u install on ur muffler, u can supposively hear this whistle from a mile away... if anyone lives in that area, lemme know, i really wanna know what those r called so i can buy one.

i just had to try it out, so like an idiot, i ordered one and had one shipped to the states from the UK and i installed it into my tail pipe. the downfall being i have a 3 inch flared tip on my exhaust, wasn't loud at all. just loud enough to give you a good enough impression of how it would sound in a normal car. with a smaller diameter, it can be heard for at least 2 city blocks, and i'm not kidding, this damn thing is loud... not to mention gay! who the hell thought this one up? i dunno, it was worth about 5 minutes of fun and lost it's appeal to have an annoying car. my car is annoying as it is, don't need a whistle to help... though we should note that the company offering it sells it as a practical joke, not an exhaust mod.. lol.
