'90-'94 323 same body as GT-R?

I was just wondering if the body of the GT-R is the same as the 90-94 323 thats is sold in the US. If it is then how hard would it be to swap a GTX BPT into it, and get GT-R bumpers and other things that will make it look like one. I'm thinking if I do all of this to one of those fugly stock 323s that it will look awsome and be very fast. Would the tranny need to be swaped with one out of a protege LX, or is it good to do so?

The GTR parts are few and far between, but we wish you luck. Yes for the most part the same car, but the under pans are very different, with the obvious AWD added.

yes, the 90-94 Protege LX tranny (G5M-R or G25M-R) will be the tranny to use with the GTX BPT.
