3rd brakelight bulb replacement

Can anyone point me to where I can find a replacemnt bulb for my 3rd brakelight in the rear spoiler? Something online would be nice. My mechanic told me it would be something like $150 just to buy the bulb. He's suggested getting hold of a used one, but he hasn't been able to find one himself.

$ 150 for the bulb............no way man.......

I would get a whole new spoiler for less than that.......

did you take the bulb out already ???
do you know what the # of the bulb is ?

Is it an oem spoiler?
I replaced the one in mine for about a $1.50

But $150??? bwahahah... ya I'd go buy a new spoiler....

Maybe he got his decimal places mixed up?

It's the oem spoiler. The bulb isn't actually a bulb though, it's a long strip of light. I haven't actually taken it out though, so I don't know it's number.

there has to be a bulb behind the long strip of light.....maybe more than one.......I am not sure since I don't have a spoiler on my car.

try looking for the bulb...........there has to be a way to remove the part that lights up when you press the brakes........
check the fuses too..........it might be that a fuse burned out and that's why your light doesn't work.....
