I was wondering is it really safe to put the zx2 struts on. Also i read the how to on how to mod them to fit but it seems too complicated for me and i dont wanna mess up ,but i do want new struts.


Are there any other decently priced struts out there that r good

uhhh, ya, the struts are perfectly safe, been racing them for about 9 months.

The mod is really simple, but it does take patience as the hole must grinded for a nice snug fit of the bearing. But other than that, it's very basic and the struts are identical to stock in how it mounts.

do the KYB struts give a more comfy ride, or do u people with the zx2 struts dont have too much of a problem with to much bounce?

it's more of a quick jolt, than a bounce, as when it's stiffer, it dosen't bounce near as much it's more controlled. The "bouncy" cars you see are too low and riding on the bumpstops...basically, they have no suspension travel and/or have way too stiff a spring (usually due to cutting OEM springs, as the rates change dramatically)

and make no mistake, the ZX2 S/R struts are stiff. But with a softer spring like Eibach or ST it's not bad for daily driving. They are most certainly the best bang for the buck as far as performance goes. I personally don't care how it rides on the street, it's how it handles on the track that's my primary concern. You need to decide what yours is and go from there.
