it does defeat the purpose but its way lower now and rides better. i have no idea why but its smoother now than it was with the sleeves. blown struts help too

That's wierd, 'cause your car does'nt look all that much lower than mine and I would have thought that coilovers all the way down would make the car almost touch the ground..... :dunno:

To be quit honest I am really satisfied with Bizob's drop on his second gen ... It looks nice to me .. I am pretty much going to do the same thing that you did , cut springs, I really don't feal like buying a set of springs for the car and could really care less....
