Wheel spacers

I was wondering if anyone has tried the wheel spacers at corksport. Or, does anyone know if the spacers are for looks and don't help handling. I ask cause I am looking to make my pro a minisleeper. which means no rims. and if I lower the car will the fender rub. how far should I lower it, with spacers. i still have the stock wheels with 175/60/13 sad I know. last can I put 205's on or should I go with 195 on stock rims. Coper Cobra makes 205 and 195 for the 13".
thanks for any info

H&R make some pretty sweet looking spacers, even some that can transform your 4 lugs into 5. They would fit your sleeper criteria well by keeping stock look, but with more offset. They com in all different sizes, so fender rub will not be a problem, just a small journey
