FYI, while researching springs for the protege, I was told the following. Incidentally, why are spring companies so secretive about their numbers?

Progress: 240 front/140 rear (source: Progress)
Eibach: 217 front/97 rear (source: Mazda)
Eibach (MX3 v6): 194 front/74 rear (source: Mazda)
H&R: "our springs are generally stiffer than the compeition, including Eibach and Progress"

Does anyone know the stock spring rates for the 92 lx?

Also, which of the above springs would be best for auto crossing with street rubber?
