Sport Springs

I was considering some sport springs, has anyone changed theirs out? What about coilovers, I was condering both of those.

ZX@, from a Ford? I'd like to change out my springs, but I need to find more info. Is there any problems with the camber alignment?

ZX2 struts are a great replacement strut for 1st gens...especially if you have a stiffer than stock spring....

I'll keep that in mind. The 2" drop, are there any problems with that..... improper camber angle, limitation on tire/wheel size? Also, what are some decent brands? I don't want to buy the hi-dollar stuff that works just as well as the 'other' brands?

wow, I had no idea the ZX2 struts were bolt-ons for the first gens!! Thats cool. the ZX2s are nice cars.

I also have a neighbor who is selling a black first gen for $500. I'm thinking about picking it up as a daily while I gut and build the P5. Of course I'll mod the **** out of it!

Thats probably what I'll do as well prime.I love the pro so much think I'll get on just to build and keep the one I have now for daily.Guess Ill hunt a 1st gen lx if nothing else for the dohc and 4 wheel discs.Thow the rears discs major contribution is that they cool better, I tend to preset drifts slightly with hard brakeing as opposed to my dads down shifting sets.Well hell he actually raced in europe maybe his way is better.

id like to know about lowering a first gen too. besides springs, do i need anything? with the CamaroZ28 i lowered we had to nearly redo the entire suspension just to get it to ride okay, but i understand a lot of imports are lowered with just springs and ride just fine. please let me know
