Have you got all five people yet? If so, when can we get another batch of these bars made?

Still waiting, but getting closer, ideally, i'd like 5-10 ppl, but will still go ahead with just 5.

I'm new here, just found the link in the mazda newsgroup.
I'm in for the bars.
Can I pay thru PayPal?
I'm in Canada, so shipping may be a bit of a hassle.

Ok, here's the scoop.
The general rule of thumb for Canadian buyers is that everything will be at least TWICE the price by the time you get it in your hands.

1. Canadian dollar is only worth $0.65 US

2. shipping to Canada is more expensive as it's classified as international.

3. it has to go through Customs
3.1. UPS charges $35.00 to do the paperwork of brokerage
3.2. Canada Customs charges 15% sales tax (on converted CDN $ amt)
3.3. Canada Customs charges you $5.00 to charge you.
3.4. Canada Customs accesses import duties if applicable 15 - 30%

Problem 1.
Low CDN $ - nothing we can do about it, our money is low because the US greenback is strong.

Problem 2.
The extra cost is not prohibitive, just more ouch.

Problem 3.
There are several ways around some of the hassles.
1. DO NOT ship by UPS!!!!!
2. ship by USPS as a private person NOT as a commercial enterprise.
3. Declare item to be of lower than real value
4. Declare item to be of less than $35.00 value
5. Best yet, for those who can, bring it across the border and ship WITHIN Canada. We'll love you for it.

As a case in point, I recently bought a front strut brace from a California company off eBay. The price was $18.47 US. By the time I had it in my hands I was out over $70.00 CDN
You guys don't know how lucky you are in the US.

hey guys,

yes, the bars are still for sale. the shop is the middle of a huge project and when they get done, they can start on the bars.

I'll do what i can to help out our Canadian members.

the bar sits about 3" off the ground with my H&R's.

Yeah, I'd be interested if they fit a 91 323 SE Hatch.

I am looking at the pictures on Darryl's website and wondering if there wasn't a way to put the bar above the bottom engine mount support and the exhaust downpipe? How much actual clearence is there on either side to get to those control arm bolts? Cause 3" is not much clearence between your car and the ground. Esp. going over these speed tables in northern illinois.
