Transmission not gripping

The other day i was driving along, when all of a sudden i felt the tranny slippn.. i didnt think much of it til i was on my way home n it didnt move after a stop... i dont know what this was... i was hopin it was just a flywheel, b/c i dont have the $$ for a whole new tranny.... also, if ne1 knows what that could be, that would be great...

P.S. If i do need a new tranny i will be sure to get it changed to standard... as well as join in on the kartboy short shifter....

I think you will end up paying way more swapping auto to manual than replacing the tranny.

Sounds like your tranny is going. It's worth doing the swap to a manual if you have the skill and $$$.
