tranny fluid

what kind of tranny fluid do you put in your manual tranny. Ive used atf but it doesn't last long. I want to switch over to something like GL-5 or motor oil. So what kind do you put in your tranny. 1.8 BP engines and tranny

What do you mean by it dosn't last long. I work in a tranny shop for a mazda manual i would suggest one liter of gear oil and the rest of 5w30 motor oil

well, usually i would be lead to believe that the best solution is a mazda specified MANUAL transmission fluid.. or even a castrol or mobil MANUAL transmission fluid, lol. but honestly, alot of people use Redline tranny fluid.
